Hello out there !
Working on wiring on 70 series Javelin and have factory service manual here . There are a number of

wires drawn out that are a series of dashes , in the primary ignition circuit and going to the voltage regulator . Mostly yellow wires .

I used to know the reason that these wires were drawn out as dashes , but I have forgotten and have searched all day for the legend with no success !!!

So I hope somebody from our great group can educate me on this wiring drawn as dashes

Thanks so much for the help and as always AMC Forever !!!

I have a 71 and in my manual the only series of dashes around the regulator are stated as an inset of optional wiring. A/C and I6 have wiring variances. The dashes are a segregation area not to be included with the standard wiring given. Either one but not together as one.
