I'm working on replacing a few things on the Motorola 93MR radio that is in my 59 American.

I need a new speaker for it. It is a 5 x 7, 8 ohm speaker. I found a few on line, but none are exactly like the original speaker. If anyone knows of a source, I would greatly appreciate it.

I believe he schematic shows the speaker as 3.2 ohms.

Modern speakers generally have larger magnets and a new speaker sometimes won't fit where it mounts.  Having the original re-coned is sometimes the best option.

In case you need it, a nice clear schematic is in the 1959 Beitman manual, available at this link:

I used this fellow 4 years ago.  $49.99 each.
exact match and 8 ohms for my ‘64 Ambassador.
We had a long conversation on getting me what I needed.
