I'm installing Vintage Air's Super Gen II in a 1969 Javelin non AC car. I'm willing to take and post pics if anyone is interested.
The Super Gen II fits, the defrost ducts line up, the bulkhead connectors through the firewall are a little tight but will fit.

I'm installing Vintage Air's Gen IV Magnum in a 1970 Javelin AC car. I'm willing to take and post pics if anyone is interested as well.
The Gen IV is much bigger and may hang down a bit lower but it does fit, I know I will be giving up some of my glove box but I am with that to have AC in the summer here in Florida! the defrost ducts I customized to use the defrost ducts that vintage air offered in a kit. I am using the factory holes in the center of the dash for two larger vents (I used 2015 Ford F150 vents there) after customizing the factory AMC part by using a Dremel and cutting/modifying it a bit. I intend to add another vent where the clock normally would be as well as one on passenger side lower next to grab handle which I haven't done that yet. I'll post more as well, I didn't mean to hi jack your thread but I know I looked to see what may or may not fit in our Javelins originally and couldn't find much so hopefully this will help others down the road. The Ford F150 Ducts I used... (Still working on it actually, trying to get them centered before epoxying in place).

A quick initial question to those in the know. I am in the initial planning stages for putting after market air in a 70 Javelin. For a retrofit - do I need to source 3 groove pulleys? I am waiting to see the install thread for the vintage air gen II install. I will likely purchase that unit for my application but wanted to get a jump on the motor components. Also - what are people using for the compressor mount? My car has power steering - no air pump. Thanks - JJ

I'm using an original AMC AC mount and one of Vintage Air's adapters.
