I am reviving a 70 AMX from a 25 year "rest" - new rubber, new Wilwood brakes, new wiring, new fuel cell, etc. - questions are:  ignition?  MSD 6-AL work well??  Car should run low 10"s - Also, thinking of putting a Holley Sniper kit on it - anybody have any thoughts on the EFI vs carburetor??  Decals are all removed and getting ready to buff the car out - repainted the upper portions of the doors as well and also polished the wheels - Thank you, Dean cell 701-205-6906

I've been happy with my Sniper, I'm getting down towards mid 11's with it. The data logging feature is very handy for drag racing. If you are looking at the Sniper, then you might also look at adding the Hyperspark distributor and their CDI box to give you timing control as well, but the Sniper will also work with MSD stuff. The Hyperspark distributor is relatively cheap because it doesn't need to include vacuum or mechanical advance mechanisms.

I'd suggest the Super Sniper as it has a few more features and additional inputs that you can use for things like fuel and oil pressure to complete your data logging experience.

You will also want the digital dash once you get into it.

Oh, the Sniper has a 2-step rev limiter function as well.
