I saw those but didn’t want to spend 600.00 then still need a shield. Looks to be about my only option though.

I run the JW bell on my AMX and use a SFI blanket on the body of the trans.

Anything special you had to do besides cutting off old bell housing?

Bolt the bell on before you install it on the trans, I had to clearance the inside a bit because the flexplate was hitting inside and check your torque converter end play I had to have approx. 7/16 spacers made to get the proper end play. You also need to use an aftermarket dipstick tube.
