Just got my shortblock back from a refresh at the machine shop. They spec'd out a bigger cam to make a bit more power on the high end of the RPM range.

New cam specs.

Got a used roller blower cam with these specs if anyone needs one.

Took a look at the distributor drive gear oiling hole clearance, two are blocked. The cam snout appears to be too long. There are four oiling holes, two come from the grooved area of the distributor drive gear. The other two are supposed to be exposed just in front of the cam snout. Since this one is too long those two oiling holes are blocked. Will have to correct this.

The previous incarnation of this engine made 578 HP. Not planning on making dyno runs, just going to slip it back in the car and make some passes to see if it's quicker than last year.

Interesting how similar the custom bullet HR is for my NA 390:
duration at .050 232 238
Lobe lift .353 .353
separation 112
Timing at .050 8 44 55 3
Duration at .006 283 289

Mine hasn't run yet, so I can't comment on performance.
