Hello, I am looking to replace the factory column in my 65 marlin with a tilt column. Is there a specific column that I should look for? The car has floor shift. Thank you

You really need a 65-66 Classic/Marlin/Ambo tilt column. Put a wanted ad in. There are column shift ones out there, but floor shift ones are very rare.

I don’t think an ambassador is going to work, it was longer to to the extended wheelbase. |

From my looking, the marlin tilts columns are hard to come by. Didn’t know if there was one from another model that I could use. If it’s a little shorter that would work also. I’m not a fan of how far the wheel sticks out currently.

I just realized that myself! Might be able to swap the lower shaft portion? |
