American/Javelin with 199/232 engines (starter on driver side). Header could probably work on all models since there is more engine compartment room with the i6. To be honest, I'm going to be going a 4L head swap on my Rambler's 232, so it wouldn't help me out; but, there are several on here that would probably be interested. Interest would good go up if said header would work on the later 232/258 engines )starter on passenger side).

232Jav,

I may have a header that may fit the 4.0 cylinder head swap. It’s made for the XJ Jeep. I own a bone stock 199” 66 American. Will that be a good prototype vehicle for the majority of the I6’s? Please let me know. Thank you.

Nick,

That would be a good prototype vehicle. Biggest issue folks have had is header to starter interference. I have pictures of the 4L head mocked up on a 199 core, and the factory header just clears the starter. I can post a picture, as it may help you design one for the early heads.

Really nice build! Hope Detroit has some hardware ready, your build desires some!
Doubt there is another Rambler even close with AMC/Rambler HP up front.
