In case you're following the progress of the Great American, We finally got it on the chassis dyno to fine tune for drivability and peak power. Here's the video. Hope you enjoy it. The engine made 546 RWHP and 525 RWTQ. We're estimating a 15% loss with the 6 speed. That brings us to approximately 640hp and over 600 ft. lbs of torque at the flywheel. This was on 93 pump gas and a couple of gallons of VP C10 blended in. Headers are 1-7/8" x 2" x 3-1/2" mated to a 3-1/2" exhaust through the X-pipe and reduced to 3" to our ARH Pure Thunder Series mufflers with tailpipes. It's more exhaust than it needs but I do plan to increase power to near 700hp at some point. AMC power for the win!!

Thanks for sharing your thoughts guys. I'm so thrilled to be a part of this community. For those that are near Michigan, I'm planning to attend the Detroit Autorama on the first week of March. I'll be displaying the Great American in the Tremec booth. If you attend, please stop by. I'd love to meet you.
