Spent 5+ hours restoring my radiator baffle.

Putting together a video of the process!

A ton more progress has been made on the Javelin since I last posted, but there's still plenty left to do! I've made several more videos, but I won't post them all.

"The Road to Roadworthiness, Part 3" is up. I started digging into a bunch of potential electrical issues on this video. There's A LOT of corrosion going on with these smaller pieces. It's my theory that the car sat in some salty sea air for the 40 years it was in Washington. May it was covered by a tarp and trapped moisture inside? Hoping to conclude this video with Part 4 soon!

Took out the instrument panel and cleaned it up and replaced a bunch of parts on the back, including the circuit board, CVR, lights, etc. Also painted the red strip back on.

Got everything back in the car, and it's about 90% working. I have a bulb or two out in the dash I'll have to get fixed (I think I put them in "backwards"). I also don't have turn signals for some reason, so I'll have to look into that as well. Nice long video for the progress coming out tomorrow on my Youtube channel.

Got the new aluminum radiator in with the electric fans. Still have to wire the fans.

Decided to paint the dash pad and other parts of the dash while I had it out.

Everything here is rebuilt. New differential cover will go on after I get a couple hundred miles on it. 3.73 gears (from 3.15), 1-piece axles from Doctor Diff, and rebuilt LSD all done at AZ Differential Specialists.

The baffle is useless on your car with a radiator setup like yours. Sell it and make some money

Yup, I realized that right after I installed it. 😆
