Howdy all. I recently bought a rebuilt 290 4BBL, but it came without a flexplate or flywheel. I found and bought a 290 flexplate  (YEAH!), but didn't realize at the time that there were two different flexplates depending on which trans was behind the 290 (BOO!). The 4BBL 290 had an M11 behind it whereas the 2BBL version used a lighter duty trans. I need one for an M11. So, anyone have a 290 4BBL flexplate available? I'd love to have a flywheel, but not sure I'll get that lucky. But I can dream! Thanks!

I removed a 290 4bbl engine from a 69 AMX parts car. I may have the flex plate from this engine. I will check tomorrow.

You can also buy a new flywheel and have it balanced with the proper flexplate.
