Hello all,
Below is a portion of a discussion I found about repairing the front spring perches. ""Todd, If you look at the lower spring mount it mounts on the upper control arm by two bolts. The spindle is what is bolted to the upper control arm and it goes through the lower spring mount encased in rubber. If it is bad you will have to replace or repair it. It is made of unobtainium. I have seen them metal to metal as the rubber has died. If you call up Performance Suspension Components on 3001 N. 35th Ave. Phoenix Arizona 85017. Info 602-272-4085 or Order: 1-800-572-3768 and ask for Spring bushing #ENE2048G you can get a Polyurethane bushing that will work." Well, apparently Performanc Suspension Componenets is out of business. Does anyone know where you can these bushings? Thanks, Jim |

hi, there is another option, though not cheap. Check out Opentracker Racing, in Carmel Valley, CA. They will take your old perches and machine them to accept sealed ball bearings. About $225. I have three of their sets, in an Eagle, A Spirit, and a Hornet., and am very pleased with them. Good luck, gz

I forgot about Open Tracker. I made my own jointed strut rods based on their design for a Mustang I used to own.
Does anyone know the diameter of the perch shaft and the ID of the tubing that the bushings go in? Thanks, Jim
