Kernersville Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram ,bought a pair of alum. sill plates, brand new still in factory wrapping , has the American  stamping on them. OH!also free shipping ! $99 !  They shipped fast using UPS.

If they're smooth aluminum, they're reproductions, available from most of the AMC vendors for about the same price. If they're etched (covered in tiny dots) you got a real deal.

Received mine in three days, free shipping, and very well packed in a sturdy box. Look great. Not as nice as the originals with the added 'texture', but loads better than MY original beat-to-heck sills.

If I had a set of NOS etched ones, I would sell them for big money and use the ones described in this thread. They only look nice until you close the door on the seat belt end.
