well guess i better get the dizzy done
converting to electrons. folks seem to be happy with this setup. and don't use a blaster coil.(0.5 ish)   this needs 1.5-1.8 coil.

Yeah, I’ve been using one on my car for years with no issues - simple, reliable, works, and looks stock externally with a one-wire hookup. Not sure what you mean by using it with a 1.5-1.8 (Ohm?) coil, I use it with the standard points type coil and it works great.

 ya .. its the ohm thing.  i guess thay don't like the lower ohms of the msd.

tire shop told me last week that bridgstone will be going up about 20% first of the month. and the others will be doing it soon after.  i figured i better get a set for her.... (2)325/60 and (2)245/60/14. still just over 800 in O'bidens America.... last set i got 3 years ago were 60 per less ....LOL

 another year has come and gone and she still ain't done.... another winter to tinker with her and get the small stuff i guess ....
but on a good note...  i got my 50+ year old original wire holders. ya can't fake the look. need a bath tho. mite be nit picking on this stuff but it matters to me. even tho i went with the basket weave seat.

sorry guys ....  after talking with others that have basicly the same setup as i do. seen dyno numbers with all kinds of intakes and headers and so forth...  im going with the airgap. just no spacer.  i can't see giving up almost 200 HP with the stock intake and carb. still will be running the free flo manifolds tho. ya can still make real good power with them without the leaks and burnt up starters. il just box up the smog stuff i spent a mint on. getting so close to being back in ....
