1967 to 1978 full size (Rebel, Matador, Ambassador) use a ridged (NOT rigid) stem rubber bumper as a lower window stop for the door windows. The group number is 25.054-2 for the front and 25.054-28 for the rear. The books shows an alternate group number of 23.019. The part number is 434 8105.

It is used for both power windows and manual windows. It is used for the door windows but not the quarter windows on 2 door hardtops. It is not used on the 1974-78 Matador coupe door.

The head is 3/4 inch diameter. The stem fits a 1/4 inch hole in a bracket mounted on the door.

I could not find an AMC replacement through e-bay or the AMC vendors. I found that GM's part number 3655015 (also Auveco 4233) fit, although the head appears to be maybe slightly thicker (1/16 inch??).
