That seems to be just a touch more than the Crane 869501 [which is made of unobtanium these days]. It was 208/216 @ .050 with a 112 degree LSA and .530 lift.
Buzzman72...void where prohibited, your mileage may vary, objects in mirror may be closer than they appear, and alcohol may intensify any side effects.

Good to know and thanks!! I still have some time before pulling the trigger on these so Might end up there. Sound like a good option keeping the low RPM torque.

If you can afford it I would go with a full roller rocker. But that is just me.

I contacted Bullitt cams with my specs for my 401 and they made me a custom grind hyd roller , supplied the cam/lifters , springs, retainers and locks. They were great to work with. This was a year and a half ago.... or so?

That would be nice, not sure that is in my budget or not. I will give them a call and see what they say.

Thanks for the info!

Crane has ceased to exist as far as I know, Comp has killed the brand off and anything to do with Crane now takes you direct to the Comp website.

Based on my recent experience, I would not run the ball pivot style rocker arms, but they are probably ok if you also run guide plates depending on what heads you are working with.

The Comp springs above look a little heavy for the lifter specs given, but that will all change with installed height most likely.

I used Pac 1903 springs, my cam is a little bigger as far as I could work out they are same as Crane 99893, which is recommended for my cam and also interchange with Renegade 99893 and Elgin RV9944Y. I am running the old Crane HR-224/339-2S-12, which has 224/232 @ 0.050" and 542/563 lift.

You will need to machine the valve guide bosses for positive seals as the dual springs will not fit over the factory style umbrella seals.

Johnson lifters for me.
I've finally given up drinking for good...........now I only drink for evil.

Thanks, I noticed that about the crane cams... I would end up looking at comp when searching.

I didn't even think about the seals, thanks for mentioning... and the other info.
