No rubber gasket. Glass is set with butyl tape, or urethane sealant.

"................. and make sure it is the proper size or the trim moldings will not fit right." Correct! My glass guy recommended 5/16" and that's all I ever used. Six out of seven AMX's needed their windows reset. None leaked. A hint: The glass must be absolutely clean. Then clean it again.

Not only must the glass be absolutely clean, the channel on the body must be absolutely clean too. Use denatured alcohol, wax and grease remover or a similar solvent that does not leave a film. Do NOT use Brake Klean. Bad nasty stuff that you don't need to breathe.

Also make sure the rubber spacers are in place in the bottom channel and DO Not bump the edge of the glass on anything. Glass can take a heck of a direct blow but a hit on the edge will reduce it to crystals. It is best to wait for a very warm day.
