Is there a way to let Fel-Pro know about the issue.

I am going to try but don't get your hopes up too high for any changes.

Frustrating. I’ve seen the ol German, made in Germany box on electrical parts, only to find a China sticker on the actual part inside. When I request a trusted name. Makes me boil.

The amount of trouble in that rear main, once in the car... insane. And then like one post here says, the blame on the builder/mechanic... ugh.

Wow; so much for German quality. It sucks that you had to take it apart again, but at least you were able to run it on a stand before installation.

That is not really new.. as I ordered a Felpro over a year ago from Summit, I got the "dhp Germany" ring and installed it w/o problems.

You are right, the ones from Germany have been out there for at least a year.  Around a year ago, my friend who builds engines asked me if I had any trouble with the ones from Germany because his was leaking.  At that point, I was still using the ones with the AM part number on them. I usually buy the kits 12 at a time so it took  me a while to use them up before I got to the new supply.
If you don't mind, please tell us exactly how installed the seal.  Maybe I need to change my methods to work with the new supplier.

I use the SCE rear main seal and most of their other seals for my AMC as well. Pricey but made in USA
