I think our Jeep section needs more action so here are some pics of my '75 cj5. 304/t18, dana 30/44 with 4.88 gears, new 37" Toyo MT, Detroit locker with Alloy axles front, rear was welded but I couldn't take it anymore (back to open rear diff for now).

Real Jeeps have round headlights. I am thinking about taking it to Kenosha. I have taken my Rogue for years and never the Jeep. I have had that one since 1977.

I will be driving mine around Kenosha (I already am haha). My 66 American is ready for the track days but not road legal yet- so the CJ will be my cruiser.

Dad was killed in an accident last July, this Jeep was one of those vehicles he was proud of. He bought it just months before and loved showing it off.
A 2004 WJ Special Edition. High miles but smooth and quiet and reliable and fun. Pretty well equipped, towing package, sun roof.
I bought it from the estate and glad I did.
Had rocker panels replaced and the headlights redone. Gotta get pics of it clean but it rains here constantly so clean isn't something easily accomplished here...
Hope to keep it going as long as I live.

Like I needed another one.....but I drug this 79 Cherokee Golden eagle home this past weekend. hopefully save another one from just rotting away. Very solid body, no frame rust, 360/AT/soon to have part time case with low range, AC equipped, rear defrost, working am/fm/cb radio. Poured gas in carb and engine fired right up with no smoke or noises and 50 psi oil pressure. next will be to drop the gas tank to see what kind if shape it is in. Oh and LOTS of cleaning!! stay tuned.

Acquired this 81 J10 at an estate sale a couple weeks ago.  Been wanting a J10 since I was in HS, although what I dreamed of was a step-side Honcho, not a LWB townside. But hey, it's still a nifty piece, and I'm glad to have it. 1 owner till me, been up here in the high country of CO it's entire life, so very little rust. Been in covered storage since 2002, brought it back to life this week. 360 4 speed, Pioneer interior, Cameo Tan over Copper Brown 2-tone paint, painted rear step bumper, full wheel covers, the big side mirrors and dealer-installed but genuine jeep towing package. Finally got it running last night after several days of tinkering, needs a lot of details attended to, but kind of expected as long as it's been sleeping.

Not an AMC product, but still - it's a Jeep and it has a legacy name - and it exists because AMC helped Jeep survive.

OK, so these are NOT AMC, but still - if it hadn't been for AMC, these would likely not exist today.........AMC saved Jeep.

I have 4 vehicles with Jeep engines in them - 2 have the 4.0 and 2 have the 3.6, only 3 of them are Jeeps.

I'm ready for snow (even thought I HATE IT)

2020 JT;  2021 Grand Cherokee -

And of course an old pic of my older Jeep, the 04 WJ - 4.0 with 127,300 miles.

Now we're talking!
Nothin' I enjoy more than looking under the hood of an older Jeep and seeing AMC power.
By the way, I love those valve covers.
Who's are they? Where did you get them? And how has your experience with them been so far?
Thanks,

Valve covers are from Indy Cylinder Heads. I like them except for the recessed hex bolts...I get mud in them from deeper pits and getting the bolts out requires a blast of pressurized air to clear the mud/dirt!

My 97 XJ SE. pretty much stock with 4.0 and auto with a spartan locker in the rear axle. This one has 184k and still runs great although I rarely drive it anymore. Paid 5k cash for it almost 20 years ago when it had 100k on it.  Got a spare set of Weld draglites Im gonna throw on it next and maybe lift it a couple inches for some bigger tires. I have owned 2 other XJs, 2 WKs and a 84 Grand Wagoneer in the past

Nice bunch of Jeeps.  Love the FSJ's. I used to own a '64 J200 and a '67 J3000.  Around 1984 or 5 I swapped the running gear, 350 Buick, Turbo 400 transmission, power steering and brakes from a '70 Wagoneer along with the bucket seats, console, door panels and AC into the '67.

Then I sold it.

Yeah, I know, that was stupid.  I wish I had some pictures of it but any I had got lost along the way.
