Almost done with my rear end swap, hopefully this is the last question I ask! The leafs in the car are the ones that were used with the isoclamp AMC 15 that was in the car. My AMC 20 (non-isoclamp) fits over them, but the centering pin seems too long- bottoms out on the axle tube.

Is there anything placed between the spring perches and the leafs on say, a Javelin or Gremlin? Small rubber pad or anything? Or is it direct metal to metal, perch to leaf?

I just want to make sure I'm not missing anything before I trim 1/4" or so off of the centering pin.

Thanks!
