Y'all, Y'all, You might know from my other posts I am resurrecting a track car that hadn't run in six years. I got it out on the street yesterday and it's clear the pads aren't suitable for street/autocross use, so I need different ones. The Wilwood fronts were easily ID'd, but I don't know which calipers/pads are on the back. Before anyone asks: * I do not know the original application of the calipers/pads. * I do not know the supplier of the conversion kit. * I cannot ask the person who installed the conversion kit (he's deceased). Pictures (sorry, I can't do links/pics yet): * caliper installed -- https://i.imgur.com/nr99ot8.jpg * piston side of pad -- https://i.imgur.com/fNxukBz.jpg * rotor side of pad -- https://i.imgur.com/wDjBHK3.jpg
Thanks in advance, Scrappy |

Have any auto parts stores around that have someone that has worked there for a long time? I would think that these pads are kinda unique because of the tab on the top, maybe someone would remember them at a parts store.
Here is a catalog that has a bunch of different drawings (including size) starting on page 745. If nobody recognizes them, then maybe scroll thru this. https://ebcbrakes.com/assets/Flip-Catalogues/2016_USA_Automotive_Cat_Flip2_HTML5/2016_USA_automotive_catalogue_FLIP_2.html Have fun, Mike |

1970 AMX, one step forward, one step back. Both steps cost time and money.

Mike, Thanks for the suggestions! A parts store with some "old heads" would have been my next step, but I got my answer on Reddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/MechanicAdvice/comments/n4229u/caliperpad_id_needed/ It's an SSBC kit and the pad is apparently FMSI Reference Number D347/D545, which pops up plenty of options from various suppliers, including EBC. Thanks, Shawn
