Thank you for that, yes I’m trying to focus on one rusty area at a time. Looking at the car as a whole is almost overwhelming, the car also had some bad fiberglass repairs done in the floorboard area probably in the early 80’s. I personally believe this thing was heavily raced and beat on in NY from new until being too rusty to continue to use. The factory subframe connectors look like they saw the Baja 1000.

With the exception of the Rebel Machine, they all appear to be pretty much parts cars at this stage.

I like the Rebel Machine and if it were a rwb car I would’ve bought it, but I hate the green, and honestly it’s still a major project missing a lot of Machine specific and 1970 specific parts.

Lol, I like the green and am not partial to the R/W/B paint schemes. I actually think it’s very cool because it’s not R/W/B. Even without the Machine-specific parts it’s still a great car if someone could get it for a decent price and it would make for an excellent and comfortable driver.

I agree, the Rebel machine is without a doubt the easiest project he has at this point, but it’s still a major undertaking for someone.

I really like the look of your car with wide tires.  I agree that the green Machine is cool because it isnt R/W/B.  I will be following this build.

Thank you, yes the N50’s are cool. Someone widened a set of Magnum 500’s for them so they fit with the factory Model 20

Wow, I can't even comprehend dealing with all that rust.  My hat's off to you though for going to the trouble to save it. Thumbs Up
