Believe water methanol injection is the ticket on the torqstorm. No power without so not a cooling issue now.

No intercooler.

Going to do a partial tear down and check things out.

Did not surface the new Indy heads and driver side is leaking water near the header so something is not sealing there. Going to surface both heads and see if anything else looks wrong.

Leak down did not show any issues but now that it is leaking water, I will leak it again before I take the heads off. Fun, fun

I had read other people suggesting that Indy heads needed "a lot of work" and it was suggested they may not be finished as well as they could. Surfacing or at least checking it over carefully may pay off. Maybe it needs "O" rings.... to keep the water out. LOL
 Good luck, nice build.

Head gaskets blow by on four holes, three on one side, one on the other.

Lesson is, never install new heads without resurfacing no matter how good they look.

Have You inspected the 4 D shaped coolant passages for core shift.  Some of us have them too close to the fire ring or in my case the block o-ring.

The sealing surfaces are close but ok.

Last pull I bumped the timing to 34* and burnt a piston. Should have listened to my instincts and not turned it up. 25* seems to be a pretty good number with low 9's compression and around 8 PSI for a combination like this and pump gas

Going to be a few weeks to get it back together

Makes sense why it ran fine but was down on power. Gaskets leaked past the compression rings towards the exhaust ports in four holes.

Hole to hole shows no sign of leaking so it was an engine with four less then optimal holes. Leak down test did not pick it up so all cylinders sealed enough to pass a leak down not running.
