I'm swapping my 69 Javelin from the 290 2V, M40, to a 343 4V, M11.
I see you can get the M11 driveshaft yoke from some AMC dealers. But I am wondering if the driveshaft is the same between the two transmissions. The M11 is shorter than the M40, does the yoke make up for this? Current driveshaft is 47 1/4"

If anyone knows the length of the driveshaft in a 69 Javelin with an M11, that would answer my question also. I don't have the powertrain in to measure it.

Thanks! That answers that, the yoke and the driveshaft are both different.
I think I found a used one, and it's cheap, and in Canada, must be my lucky day. Think I'll buy a lotto ticket

My pleasure.
Finding anything AMC is almost a miracle, but finding it cheap is like buying a coffee mug that turns out to be a genie lamp.

Spoke too soon it ended up being the wrong driveshaft and yoke. At least I found out before the guy shipped the part.
