I run a Milodon gear drive on my Spirit.

Have not had a problem with it ever.

Am wanting to switch to a belt drive on my new Indy motor along with a dry sump system when there is another production run of them.

Rob

Thanks Rob, did you add the oiling line to the gear drive?
Any issues with clearances with the Indy cover?

No, there is no extra oiling line.

As far as clearance for the Indy cover with the Milodon gear drive, yes, there is some milling work required. However, if you are careful, you will not need to tig weld any material to the cover like you would with a stock cover.

I have not used my Indy block or cnc300 heads yet. That is a project under construction for next summer.

My current engine is an Iron block, SR heads/intake, stroked stock crank, indy cover and oiling system, etc
