Can anyone tell me if there were different bore sizes between a manual and a power brake master cylinder for this one year only unit.
The rebuild kit I got has a larger diameter piston. Group no. 8.048 Part no. 3203560 This is the kit I have. Could it be the wrong one. Thanks

There were 4 different masters in '62. Delco Moraine manual and power (same piston size, different kit) for early production, 2 bolts hold it to the firewall. Bendix manual and power (completely different kit), 4 bolts hold it to the firewall. I can't tell you if you have the right kit, until I know what master cylinder you have! (There are 4 different kits) |

I have the Bendix power, 4 bolts to the firewall. After posting this last night, I did some more digging on the various AMC vendor sites and actually found the kit on Kennedy American, the part no. is 3203916 for Bendix power brake. If this can be verified as the correct one I will get it.
