Hey, im new to the forum I recently picked up a 65 rambler american. I have not been able to identify the rear-end that is on my vehicle I believe it is a dana 35/amc15., any help would be appreciated.

'65 American did not get a V8 option, so the AMC-15 is all the factory offered in that body.

Buzzman72...void where prohibited, your mileage may vary, objects in mirror may be closer than they appear, and alcohol may intensify any side effects.

I understand that however my rambler was heavily modified when purchased. along the way it had a 302 and c4 transmission installed. It did not have a torque tube instead it was an open drive line and the tag is no longer on the rear end.

Rambler Americans were always open drive, with leaf springs. Only the bigger chassis got torque tubes and coil springs, just FYI.
