So I’m curious about the coil springs - the photos are with the car off the ground and the suspension not supported. With the car on the ground, do the springs support the car and at what height? Have you driven the car with this setup? If so, how does it ride/handle?

I wonder if it's reasonably possible to adapt away from using trunnions on a big car like mine? Tomj's website has a scary write up describing how the controls arm is cold threaded with the trunnions and over the years the control arms get bent and trunnions wear away. (or something like that)
How is the work done to use the springs and shock instead of the trunnions?
