Hi, I have just joined. I live in Australia and own a 1960 AMC Rambler six super. It has an aftermarket heater with no control valve. I can't find what the internal diameter of the heater hose is that runs from the water pump. I plan to purchase a universal inline valve so I can turn the heat off.

Thanks, I was hoping it was 5/8" as the only control valves I can source are for that size hose.
