Not that I have seen, lawnmower is probably your best bet.
I just went through all the ones I had from parts cars and used the best I could find. it was a royal P.I.A. to find ones that did not have some form of age old kink in the plastic and wire. Or stripped out at the end where the teeth dig in. |

Yea, I've thought about all that. If I remember right when I worked in a dealership in the late 60's-early 70's ( sold Buicks-Opals-Jeeps) we had a kit from GM to make the control cables---included the wire, a rolll of plastic housing and a neat little tool to make the eyelet at the end.
Thanks for the advice

This thread pops up alot on my searches, so it's probably a good place for me to post that I'm making cables for most AMC models. Most of the measurements I have on hand are for the popular models from 1967-74, but I can make almost anything, we'd just need to make some measurements.
Feel free to PM me with what you need and we'll figure it out. Edited by Greyhounds_AMX - Mar/01/2021 at 6:56pm |
