It doesn't seem that the seats were "pulled" from another vehicle. Mostly last has said they were built by AMI.

If you want to install rear seats in n AMX find the rear seats from a 70-72 Gremlin (two piece seats. Later Gremlins had 3 piece rear seats). They are an exact fit, so much so that if you install them so they fold down they line up with the height of the rear section looking into the trunk. Did it to a few cars.

1948kaiser was nice enough to send me the rear seat out of his Gremlin, and it’s in great condition!
I haven’t bracketed it in yet and played with spacing, but they look great! |

Yep-that is what I said. please take a picture with the back seat folded down so people can see how neat it matches the rear area. And this takes zero modifications.
