I really love the orange feel to the TransAm Red color.  In my opinion, your car really pops with that color

In different light it flip flops from red to orange,
my car is not really T/A red but a really similar orange-red (1990 Geo Sprint Red),
and it's biggest pop to Orange is when it's wet.

Jpnjim, thank you. The car was mainly a bucket list dream for me. I grew up reading hotrod and carcraft magazines. As a kid I wanted to fix up a car. Obviously, they didn't start with projects such as this one, but it was fun and rewarding. I will have this car as long as I can. There will always be improvements. The car is currently powered by a 360 a previous owner built. The 401 is half done, so I'm not completely there yet. The 401 is still only about 50% built.
