As Richard said 1 wire from brake light switch, follow the rear harness. Even if you want to mount it at the top of the rear glass you can then run the wire up the B post to it.
With ALL wire run the same way/area there is no worry about this wire shorting, getting cut or a screw run thru it. Ground can be in the trunk any where no need to run a 2nd wire to the dash. Dave ---- |

Update to my original post. I ran thewire up to the brake light switch.
