I need a dryer for a 69 amx and apparently there are no amc's available. Is there any other car make that used the same dryer that would be interchangeable and fit in the stock position?

You can get them rebuilt. Classic Auto Air and couple other outfit do this type of work. If your doing a "STOCK" type car it's pretty much your only option, but it's not cheap. If you willing to go non-stock and do some adopting and pumping you can get some thing to fit. Good Luck with that. LRDaum

A generic dryer with the right fittings or adapters will work but not look correct. As stated, a rebuild is the other option if you have the original one. An old one probably has its desiccant used up anyway, so a rebuild or replacement will give better performance from the system.
