I need to figure out which is the hot lead and which is the lead that goes to the coil in my tach for the tic-tach set up in my '72 Javelin.  There are no markings on the back.  There are two posts,  is it the one closest to the bulb hole or the one lower then that?  There is a wire coming from the bottom area below the second post but I have a feeling that is the clock power wire.  It is red with a plug on the back.  Thanks for any help.

Do you have a 1972 TSM?  if not, I recommend that you buy one........one of the best investments you will ever make.

The TSM is a Technical Service Manual, it's basically like a Chiltons on steroids.  Very good source of information if you plan to do any serious work yourself.

If nothing has been cut, it should be:

Top Stud - Tach Power
Middle Stud (usually has a spade connector on it) - Tach Trigger

Bottom Connector with pigtail - Clock Power

If you need an actual wiring for the rallye pack, both underhood and dash, PM me. I'm making them again.
