Sweatlock,
I never thought of the Magnum 500's as overdone. If you said American Racing Torque (Torq) Thrust about 15 years ago, I would agree. At the big shows they are still abundant. I have a few of them as well. My link is for a California company. I think they are still in the US. Finding people to do wheels is a little problematic these days. I have a friend who won a couple of World of Wheels Grand Champion Trophies with a '36 Dodge Milk Truck and a early '70s Kawasaki called "King Kawasaki." The Motorcycle has spoke rims and was redone a few years ago. It still looks good but the motorcycle chrome shop he used only did it because the old man who owned the shop and did the wheel in the 70's was still there and despite his policy of not doing wheels, he agreed to take this job. Most of the chrome shops I have asked about doing wheels have said they are not interested because the wheels need to be disassembled and then re-assembled. I don't mind asking Easy Dean. Thanks for the lead. VR, Dave |
