That's fine I have an adapter. Current car is an auto trans so ill be replacing flywheel and such anyway

Thank you very much for the information. I just dont like automatics i want to have a little more fun. My daily is a stick and I like the feel. Theres no doubt ill be doing a manual swap. Im glad i kept the manual bellhousing off the gremlin sounds like itll bolt up. I saw that amc lives sells a manual flywheel. Well see what i can rig up. But a 5 speed would be wonderful for a heavier car like an ambassador

You need a flywheel for a 67-69 343. The flywheel (and flexplate) for an AMC V-8 is balanced for the engine. Just one made for your engine size is all that's necessary for a stock or mild performance rebuild. If you plan on revving it over about 5K much you really need to get the crank/balancer/flywheel all balanced.
