I have a '97 Jeep 4.0. Wanting to use a 258 alternator bracket. No power steering or AC. No smog pump either

I tried very hard many times to use the bracket on my 80 spirit when I swapped in the 95 xj 4.0. The belt wouldn't align no matter what I tried. I even tried setting the whole assembly on the 4.0 alternator plate but still no dice. I ended up making my own bracket and using the 4.0 belt tensioner
Also, mentioning you have no driver side accessories, are you using the 4.0 water pump? If so, make sure it's spinning the right way, I believe the 4.0 one all go opposite the 4.2s

All serpentine belt pumps, 4.2L (258) and 4.0L, turn the same way -- which is the opposite direction of V-belt pumps.
