Thanks guys... sounds like a good plan. I'm out of town for a few days but will give it a shot after I get home.

The late Pat Whitesides and I pulled many bumpers, both front and rear, on Javelins and AMXs. We'd pick a nice 'city tree' and strap a come-a-long to the tree, drive the car close enough to hook the center of the 'V' in the bumper, shut the car off, put the car in Park or in gear, set the parking brake and try to pull the car to the tree. The wimpy bumpers always moved. Watch out for the bumper ends as they can gouge the paint on the fenders.
