I do drive my car regulally and the A/C works Beautifully. American Parts Depot has a 'correct appearing' radiator that doesn't have the proper numbers or date codes on it. But it has the blackstone type tanks and is painted brass (like the factory). A friend just put one in his 68 AMX and it looks great.
Unless you are truly doing a concours restoration, this may be an option for you. They are around $600. As a comparison, I just paid $850 to have a radiator built with the proper top tank (date code and numbers). Its not cheap going back 50 years..... Mike

1970 AMX, one step forward, one step back. Both steps cost time and money.

I is my understanding that basic 6 cylinder cars had single row radiators and AC equipped cars (and HD or fleet cars possibly) had 2 row radiators with a shroud. Kennedy American had a new replacement 3 row Javelin radiator that was slightly shorter (an inch) but bolted in and looked stock. That is what I used in my 67 Rogue convertible.
