Go with Eaton leaf springs and new shackles.  Arch them 1/2 to 1 additional inch.  Buy new set of front coil springs Eaton or other.  Rebuild all front suspension bushings and ball joints.  Buy new KYB non-gas shocks and you should be good to go.  It's a 50 year old car and requires this work if it hasn't been done.  The old style suspension will work and handle well by replacing old and worn out parts.

Regarding springs, coil and leaf, you get what you pay for.  Save up to buy better quality.  You won't be sorry.  Just my opinion.

You could get a junkyard set of Ford Ranger, or Explorer leafs, or anything with slightly more arch and similar length 2.5" leaf packs.
Mix and match till you got the ride height wanted,
and do it all for the price of
;
Junkyard leafs packs
4 new U-bolts
2 new centering pins.

Just don't go overboard,
the first set I "built" was when I was a teenager (I think I used Jeep leafs back then) and ended up with what felt like a 3/4 ton Javelin.LOL

But my reverse cragars never rubbed again.

Hey Matt, which KYB model is non-gas? I didn't know that they still offered non-gas shocks.

You won't find any decent front springs and for what you'll pay for good ones, you might as well do the coilover conversion so you can adjust the ride height and rebound that you can't do with the stock setup.
  pretty much it.  Or spend the money to get decent springs
