I am at a point where I can post some of my AMC project I have been working on for 15 years, had I done this before now it would have been a slow moving post. I got the body back this week from the paint shop aside from the cost being way over budget it looks good, the shop only did the jambs, back side of doors, hood and trunk lid. Pictures are from the body shop last week.

This week I am getting ready to paint the bottom side of the package tray, I had painted it years ago then replaced it due to big holes being cut for speakers and forgot the finish paint. Also going to spatter paint to match factory pattern in the trunk. There is a small amount of heavy coating on the quarter panels here and there missing I decided will be just touched up with undercoating instead of redoing all of it.

You're getting to the fun part now that all the grease and grime is gone. I love hanging freshly rebuilt and painted parts back on the car!
