I'm looking into ACC for a carpet kit for the 1970 AMX. I see the option or upgrade to Mass Backing versus the standard poly backing. Do any of you have pros or cons to either? I plan on using Dynamat in the car as well. Any insight are opinions are welcome.

You might try this tread also going at the moment - has my experience with ACC. Do some searching on the forum as the topic comes up periodically. Very helpful with the covers that glue down on the wheel wells. I dont recall what backing I ordered? The carpet came molded with some jute backing in several areas but the whole carpet was not jute backed. I have never uploaded a file, but the link below may work - it is my scratchpad/notes when I was looking to install the carpet set

I ordered and installed the mass-backed ACC carpet for my 1970 AMX.
I wouldn't suggest anything else.
