Looking through my notes for my 304, I was looking at using LS1 pistons and rods and could get to 11 to one with a 4cc dome piston.  I also looked at Jeep 4.0 pistons (Wiseco forged) at about 9.7 to one.

Last time I talked to DSS they would make them. That was over a year ago when I had spoken to them.

crusher_gremmy - another consideration could be to offset grind the crankshaft to reduce deck clearance and increase the compression.
