Interesting look. There was a 2 door “post sedan” Ambassador in 1967. Only available as a base model. It used the same roof as the two door semi fastback hardtop and it used the hardtop doors. One year only.

He walked away with minor injuries. A Dodge truck came over a small hill on my brother’s side of the road. My brother headed for the ditch and got a side hit, avoiding a head on. It wiped out the entire side of his Rambler, leaving it too bent to save. The wagon had a Jeep 4.0 and overdrive that my brother salvaged and put in a 66 American convertible.

My students created a two door Sportabout. It was actually easier than expected. The center post came right out if I remember correctly.
