Hello, I'm new to this site. My friend has a 1966 AMC 770, 327 with automatic trans. When he purchased it someone had already replaced the carb with a Holley "I don't believe is original ". There is no provision to attach the transmission throttle cable to the carb. I will make an arm and attach it to this carb, but I need to know the distance from center of throttle shaft to center of transmission cable attachment hole. "for proper geometry".  Also a picture of original carb/cable area would be helpful in making a new arm.   Thanks in advance for any info/help. Big smile  Glenn

I think part of your problem is the 2-barrel equipped cars got the transmission TV cable, while the 4 barrel cars perhaps did not?? So am I right your car now has a 4-barrel?

4 barrels also came with the TV cable, I believe 65-66 only. My pics are a 4 barrel carb.

OK, but it is a different cable than the 2 barrel one, IIRC.

So this pic. you sent is also a Holley. So did they come factory with Holley carbs???   It does look like about 5/8"-3/4" ,   That seems slightly short, but may be correct!!!   Thanks for the info.
