Looking to eventually build a 360. Gonna run small combustion chamber iron heads. I'm wanting a 10:1-10.5:1 compression ratio. Heads and block decks will be milled. Wondering what pistons and head gaskets to use? I see there is a .027" and .045" compressed thickness head gaskets on the market. I wanna be sure I'm getting the right pistons. I'm wanting .030" overs that are dropped forged.

343 pistons, or Wiesco pistons will get you there but measure your combustion chambers to make sure you know what you are dealing with.

Yep, whack some flat top pistons in it, but stick with the 58 cc heads, that will get you pretty close to 10.5:1, if you go small chamber you will end up around 11.5:1. The 291C 50cc small chamber heads have a fair bit of valve shrouding compared to the 58cc 993 heads, by the time you do some work in the chamber to fix that you will be somewhere closer to 54 cc.
