Hello, I am looking to replace the factory column in my 65 marlin with a tilt column. Is there a specific column that I should look for? The car has floor shift. Thank you

You really need a 65-66 Classic/Marlin/Ambo tilt column. Put a wanted ad in. There are column shift ones out there, but floor shift ones are very rare.

I don’t think an ambassador is going to work, it was longer to to the extended wheelbase.

From my looking, the marlin tilts columns are hard to come by. Didn’t know if there was one from another model that I could use. If it’s a little shorter that would work also. I’m not a fan of how far the wheel sticks out currently.

I just realized that myself! Might be able to swap the lower shaft portion?
