Rubber isolators in the suspension suppress road noise, but also compromise cornering ability because you introduce "give" in the suspension.

It's a problem with unit body cars because the shell is the frame. The vibration travels through the car. For perimeter frame cars, the body mounts have the rubber isolators to reduce road noise. This means you can put less "give" in the suspension for better cornering, but at the cost of a (typically) heavier car.

The engineers walked a fine line between comfort and performance. It's all part of the design trade offs that must be managed.

Do you need the isoclamp in your car? If you want a comfy ride, then yes. If you prefer to carve the corners and are willing to tolerate more vibration, then no.
