1968 AMC , I am replacing the upper control arm bushings and I would like to know are they require the large washer or one on both sides or none at all.   thanks

1968 AMX??  Cupped washer on both sides and flat washer on 1 side.

I am wrong on the arms I should have said the arms that attach to the trunions, ,

Those are the upper control arms. You are working on the trunnion end of them? Exactly what car are you working on?

Can you provide a picture, or give a clear description of the location of the washer in question? Do you have factory rubber bushings, or urethane? Need more info.
